DockATot x Morris & Co. Collection Brings Home Junior Design Awards

We’re delighted to have been featured in the Junior Design Awards (2020), winning numerous awards for our new product ranges as well as some classic favourites. Junior is a trend-setting magazine whose annual awards recognise luxury and innovation in family lifestyle brands.

This year our DockATot X Morris & Co. collection – incorporating classic Morris & Co prints into contemporary nursery pieces - won us the much-coveted accolade of Best Children’s Interiors Brand.

The collaboration with Morris & Co reflects one of the core values of DockATot – that when it comes to children’s products parents shouldn’t have to choose between functionality and style.

Junior Design Awards 2020 Gold Winner for Best Interiors Product Design (Soft Furnishings)

Junior magazine described the marriage of Morris and Co.’s timeless prints with our fresh, modern nursery designs as “an unexpected match made in heaven”.

The rich, intricate patterns of the tepees, Moses baskets and floor cushions bring an opulence to the traditional nursery, raising the world of children’s interior design to a new level.

The judges commented on the attention to detail and quality of design of every aspect of the products in our Morris & Co. collection.

Junior Design Awards 2020 Platinum Winner for Best Children's Interior Brand

The judges sang the praises of the collaboration between Morris & Co. and DockATot. Gemma Metcalfe, founder of Motha.Hood, admired the creation of "essential products that are covetable and breath-taking”, whilst Carly Stevens, founder of Style & Substance described the range as “a stunning collaboration that cleverly blends traditional with functional seamlessly.”

We're delighted that this range is loved by critics as much as by ourselves.

Junior Design Awards 2020 Gold, Silver & Bronze Winner for Best Crib / Pod / Moses Design

In the category of best Crib/Pod/Moses design DockATot were honoured to receive Gold, Silver and Bronze! Gold was taken by our new Morris & Co. docks, with silver going to our Dream Weaver Moses Basket. Finally the Aristot bassinet – designed by our founder Lisa Furuland Kotsianis – took home bronze.

Junior Design Awards 2020 Gold Winner for Best Travel Product for Parents

We were awarded yet another Gold – this time in the Travel products category – for our Cabana Kit. This handy addition to our DockATot pods gives the baby protection from the sun when out and about mean they can be used whenever and wherever.

Junior magazine praised the flexibility this gives to parents’ daily routines, and observed that “the clever waterproof base protector, bug screen and easy to clean finish were just a few of the details that impressed the panel.”

Junior Design Awards 2020 Gold Winner for Best Creative Play

Finally, we were delighted to see our brand new Tent of Dreams bringing home Gold in Best Creative Play category.

“These stunning tents were one of the big attractions on judging day,” says Bonita Turner, Editor of Junior. “The incredibly high quality finish, and beautiful prints as well as the more practical aspect of easy assembly and storage, earned them a strong Gold in this category.
